Second in the All-Star Baseball series, All-Star Baseball 2000 includes a range of improvements and new features over All-Star Baseball '99:
- Motion-captured technology for a realistic representation of player movements, swings, throws and catches
- Improved roster management, including the ability to sign players from the minor league and create new players with new stats
- Play a 162 game inter-league season or the complete 1999 MLB scheduled season
- Longer replays are possible through use of an Expansion Pak.
